Services:

Greenslade & Company is a high-tech provider of dimensional calibration services to industrial firms throughout the United States. Our new calibration laboratory has state-of-the-art equipment that is connected to computers using proprietary software to produce all calibration certificates directly from the surveillance measurements. Greenslade and Company is accredited to ISO 17025 by the American Association of Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) under registration number 1032-1.

In 2002, the “Three Guarantee Calibration Program” was introduced. We guarantee a five day or less turn around or the service is FREE. We guarantee error-free certificates or we issue full credit for the gage associated with the errant certificate. We guarantee to meet or beat all published calibration prices for services within our scope of accreditation.

Fastener failure analysis and fastener expert witness services are also provided on a fee basis.

Products:

Greenslade and Company supplies the widest range of standard fastener inspecting equipment in the world. The product line includes GO/NOGO and variable thread gages, recess measuring devices, head height and head protrusion measuring gages, length gages, concentricity gages, tapping screw testing equipment, including drill-drive time machines, and torque-tension measuring and recording equipment. Much of our unique equipment is covered by U.S. Patents.

Greenslade and Company designs and manufactures a wide range of special dimensional inspection systems to meet customers’ specific measurement challenges. Over the years Greenslade and Company has adopted and carefully refined the combined philosophies of “Less is more!” and “Form follows function!” as its guiding principles in overcoming measurement challenges.

Brief History:

In 1978 Greenslade & Company was created in Rockford, Illinois, as a supplier of manufacturing tooling and services to the bolt, nut, and screw manufacturing industry. In 1983, mechanical fastener measuring and testing equipment was added to the product line. By 1990, Greenslade and Company had begun designing and manufacturing many proprietary measuring devises to meet the specific inspection needs of mechanical fasteners.

In 1999, Greenslade & Company began to develop its dimensional equipment calibration capabilities to offer an additional service to our customers. In 2000 the Greenslade laboratory succeeded in achieving accreditation to ISO Guide 25 by the American Association of Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA).
