Fastener Test Plates: Tapped, Untapped & Hydrogen Embrittlement Inspection Tools
Greenslade’s precision-manufactured test plates are essential inspection tools used to detect potential fastener performance issues before they result in assembly failures or warranty claims. These plates are available in tapped and untapped variations to meet the needs of diverse fastener types and testing protocols.
Untapped test plates are used to evaluate tapping screws for driving performance and potential hydrogen embrittlement.
Tapped and hardened test plates are required to test electroplated machine screws and bolts with hardness values at or above Rockwell C30.
All Greenslade test plates are manufactured to meet leading industry and OEM standards, including:
- ASME B18.6.4, B18.6.5M
- DIN 7500-1, 7513, 7516
